Understanding your Mysa for Mini-Splits device controls, display, and reset options.

Physical Controls

Front Face

The front face contains:

• LED Display — Shows current room temperature, mode, and status
• Capacitive Touch Buttons — Up/Down arrows for temperature adjustment

Side Buttons

Display Information

Main Display

The display shows:

• Current room temperature (large numbers)

When Adjusting Temperature

When you press Up or Down:

• Display switches to show setpoint (target temperature)
• Returns to ambient temperature after a few seconds

Mode Indicator

Mysa indicates the current mode using the colored LEDs on the side of the device. The LED color changes based on which mode is active.

Changing Temperature Format

To switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit:

1. Unplug Mysa from power
2. Hold the Down arrow
3. While holding, plug Mysa back in
4. Release when the display changes

Reset Procedures

Wi-Fi Reset

Resets network settings only — keeps IR codes and preferences:

1. Press and hold Up + Down arrows simultaneously
2. Continue holding until countdown completes
3. Mysa enters pairing mode
4. Re-connect through the Mysa app

Factory Reset

Resets everything to factory defaults:

1. Press and hold M + Fan buttons simultaneously
2. Hold until display resets
3. All settings are cleared
4. Device must be re-paired and IR codes re-learned

Power Reboot

Simple restart for minor issues:

1. Unplug the USB cable from Mysa
2. Wait 10 seconds
3. Plug back in

IR Transmitter

The front face contains an infrared transmitter that sends commands to your mini-split.

• Mysa sends IR commands in a 270° arc
• IR signals can bounce off walls — doesn't need to point directly at the unit
• Keep the front face clean for best signal

Sensors

Sensors measure conditions at Mysa's location, not at your mini-split.

Power Requirements

• Input: 5V, 6W micro USB
• Standby power: 650mW
• Power (display on): 1W
• Adapter: 5.2V, 1.2A (included)
• Cable: 6ft / 2m micro USB (included)
• Monthly consumption: ~1.44 kWh

Note Mysa requires constant power and cannot operate on batteries.

Mounting

Wall mount (adhesive):

• Use included wall mount with adhesive strips
• Arrow on mount must point UP
• Press firmly for 30 seconds
• Best on smooth, clean surfaces
• Keep at least 20 cm (8 inches) from people

Tabletop:

• Use included stand
• Align pins with holes on back of device
• Push until secure

Technical Specifications

Important Do not remove the faceplate — this voids the warranty.
