Device Settings — Mysa for In-Floor Heating

Accessing Device Settings
- Open the Mysa app
- Tap the In-Floor thermostat
- Tap the gear icon or Settings
Available Settings
Temperature Mode
Switch between Ambient and Floor mode:
- Ambient mode: Controls to room temperature (5–30°C)
- Floor mode: Controls to floor surface temperature (up to 40°C)
You can change modes anytime—no reinstallation required.
Floor Sensor Calibration
If using a sensor other than the included 10K Ohm sensor:
- Tap Floor Sensor
- Select your sensor's resistance value (5K–40K Ohm)
- Tap Save
Smart Limit Protection
Set a maximum floor temperature to protect your flooring:
- Tap Smart Limit Protection
- Set the maximum temperature (default: 30°C)
- Tap Save
Temperature Units
Switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit:
- Tap Temperature Units
- Select °C or °F
Device Name
Rename your thermostat:
- Tap Device Name
- Enter a new name (e.g., "Bathroom Floor")
- Tap Save
Room Assignment
Move the thermostat to a different room:
- Tap Room
- Select a room or create a new one
- Tap Save
Error Codes
Your thermostat monitors for safety issues and will display error codes when problems are detected:
- H2: Open heating circuit — no heater load detected on the circuit
- H3: GFCI trip — ground fault detected, tripped for safety
- I3: Floor sensor issue — check sensor connection or placement
If you see an error code, turn off power at the breaker and contact support for assistance.
Firmware Version
View your thermostat's current firmware version. Firmware updates are applied automatically when available.
