Creating and Managing Schedules
Creating and Managing Schedules
Scheduling is the #1 way to save money with your Mysa Smart Thermostat. Set it once and your home automatically adjusts temperatures throughout the day—staying comfortable without manual adjustments.
Tip ENERGY STAR® recommends these setbacks from your comfort temperature for optimal energy savings:
- Heating: Set 7°C (13°F) cooler while away, 4°C (7°F) cooler while sleeping
- Cooling: Set 7°C (13°F) warmer while away, 4°C (7°F) warmer while sleeping
Creating a Schedule
From the home screen, tap a thermostat to open the control screen, then tap Add Schedule. Choose one of three options:
Using the Wizard
- ENERGY STAR® Recommended — A standard Monday–Friday schedule with setbacks while you're away and overnight. You can adjust the timing and temperatures after.
- Create Your Own — Answer questions about your routine (wake/sleep times, when you leave and return) and preferred temperatures (home, away, sleep)
Manually
Set each event individually with full control over time, days of the week, mode (heat/cool/auto), target temperature, and fan options (if your HVAC system supports it). Tap Save, then Add Event to create additional events. There's no limit to the number of events per day. Schedules repeat weekly.
Note Minimum fan runtime is configured in thermostat settings and runs independently of schedules.
Copy from Other Mysa
Copy an existing schedule from another Mysa Smart Thermostat. This option only appears if you have another Smart Thermostat with a schedule set up.
Note To copy a schedule to a thermostat that already has one, first delete the existing schedule, then tap Add Schedule and select Copy from Other Mysa.
Editing a Schedule Event
From the home screen, tap a thermostat, then tap the schedule icon (bottom left). Tap the event you want to change, adjust time, days, mode, or temperature, and tap Save.
Deleting a Schedule
From the home screen, tap a thermostat, then tap the schedule icon (bottom left). Tap the three dots (top right) and select Delete Schedule.
To delete a single event, tap the event and select Delete.
Copying a Day's Schedule
From the home screen, tap a thermostat, then tap the schedule icon (bottom left). Tap Copy Day at the bottom, select the day(s) to copy to, then tap Next and Okay to save.
Tip If your routine varies day to day, combine scheduling with Geofencing to automatically adjust temperatures when you leave or arrive home.
Saved Schedules
Save your schedule to quickly switch between different configurations later. This is ideal for homes with seasonal time-of-use electricity pricing—save a schedule optimized for summer rates and another for winter rates, then swap between them when pricing changes.
To save a schedule, tap the three dots (top right) in the schedule view and select Save Schedule. See Saved Schedules for more details.
Adjusting the Schedule on the Thermostat
You cannot create or edit schedules from the thermostat itself—scheduling is app-only. However, you can manually adjust the temperature using the thermostat buttons. This creates a temporary override until the next scheduled event.
Shared User Permissions
Shared users can create, edit, and apply saved schedules. Only the account owner can create saved schedules.
