Authorized Reseller Returns
If you purchased your Mysa thermostat from an authorized reseller or retail partner rather than directly from getmysa.com, the return process is handled differently.
Reseller Return Policy
Products purchased from authorized resellers must be returned to the original retailer:
- Mysa cannot process returns or refunds for products purchased from third-party retailers
- Each retailer has its own return policy, timelines, and requirements
- Contact the retailer where you made your purchase to initiate a return
Important: Mysa's 30-day return policy applies only to products purchased directly from getmysa.com. Reseller purchases are subject to the retailer's own return policy.
How to Return to a Reseller
- Locate your original receipt or proof of purchase from the retailer
- Review the retailer's return policy for time limits and conditions
- Contact the retailer's customer service or visit the store to initiate the return
- Follow the retailer's instructions for packaging and shipping (if applicable)
Tip: Keep your receipt from any retail purchase. Most retailers require proof of purchase for returns and exchanges.
What If the Reseller Won't Accept the Return?
If you're having trouble returning to the original retailer:
- Verify that you're within the retailer's return window
- Check if the product meets the retailer's return condition requirements
- Escalate the issue with the retailer's customer service management
- If the product is defective, you may still be covered under Mysa's warranty regardless of where it was purchased (see our Warranty Policy article)
Note: A defective product purchased from a reseller may qualify for a warranty replacement directly from Mysa, even if the retailer's return window has closed. Contact us with your proof of purchase.
Warranty Coverage for Reseller Purchases
Mysa's warranty applies to all products purchased from authorized resellers:
- The warranty begins from the original date of purchase
- Proof of purchase from the authorized reseller is required
- Warranty claims can be made directly with Mysa regardless of where the product was purchased
