How to Create An Account

Here’s How Mysa Accounts Work!
The “Mysa account” referred to in this article is the account you create to control your Mysa thermostats in the Mysa app. This is simply an email address and password. You will not have a Mysa account until you set it up in the Mysa app.

One Mysa account is used for all of our products. You do not need separate accounts for Baseboard, In-Floor, and AC - it’s all in one place!

This may or may not be the same email account you used when you ordered Mysa or signed up for our mailing list - our shop and mailing lists are separate from the main Mysa app account.

How to Create an Account

  1. Download the Mysa app for iOS or Android. You can find it in the Play Store or the App Store.  
  2. Open the app. 
  3. Select the Create Account button - it should be right under the login fields. 
  4. The next screen is your information. You will be asked to fill in your first and last name, your country, and your state/province. Press Next
  5. The next screen you will enter your email as well as your password. You will be asked to verify your password and agree to our Terms and Conditions (link here). Press Next.
  6. The final step is to enter the verification code that was sent to your email from

But I didn't receive the verification code!

While it should show up almost instantly, give it a minute or two. It might be slightly delayed.


Also, double-check that you have entered the correct email address.

If yes, check the spam/junk folders of your email account. Sometimes the verification code will get automatically moved here. It’s rare - but it happens.


Still no code? Try resending it. There should be a Resend Verification Code button on your app screen.


Login to the Mysa App

First, make sure that you have created a Mysa account using the steps above and have verified it. Once you have, open the app and select Login. This will open the login screen where you enter your email and your password that you have already created. 


Forgot your password?

If you have forgotten your password, you can select 'Forgot Your Password?', where you can easily reset your password.

  • Tap on “Forgot your Password” on the login page,

  • Enter your email address and tap on submit, 

  • A verification code will be sent to your email from  

  • Proceed to change your password with the code provided. 

  • If you did not receive your verification code, tap on resend verification code.

Common Questions

How do I share my account?

You can also set up Shared Access so that multiple people with their own phones can control your Mysas. Here’s how to do that.  


Creating an account from a Shared Access invite:

  • If the user does not already have a Mysa account they will be sent an email and temporary password. If the credentials don’t work, it may have expired. Simply as the sharer to resend the invite.

  • If an account does already exist, they will receive a notification directly in the Mysa App.


What’s My Mysa Username?

If you are using Mysa with another smart home platform - Google Home, Amazon Alexa, Apple HomeKit - it may prompt you to enter a username. Your username for your account is simply the email address that you used to create the account.


Can I Install the Mysa App on a Windows or Mac Computer?

No. The Mysa app is mobile only. You cannot access the Mysa app through a laptop or desktop, or in a browser. 


Can I Change the Username or Email Address Associated with my Mysa Account?

As of right now, no. In order to change the primary Mysa account email address, you’ll need to create a new account and re-pair each Mysa thermostat to the new account. 


If you do this, make sure that you remove all the Mysas from your previous account. If not, you’ll receive a WiFi disconnection email every 3 hours.
