How many zones can I set?
You can set as many zones as you have thermostats. Each thermostat can have a different name (ex. kitchen), and all of these can represent a different zone.
How many schedules can I make?
Just like with the Baseboard Thermostat, every thermostat you have can have its own schedule . So, if you have 6 thermostats, you can have 6 customized, different schedules.
Does Mysa make a high-pitched whining noise?
No, Mysa shouldn't make any high-pitched noises. However, it is possible for Mysa to make clicking or humming sounds when it turns on the heater or just after it is installed. If you hear any strange noises coming from your Mysa or your heater, we recommend contacting an electrician to take a look at your Mysa to ensure it is installed correctly.
What happens to the thermostat during a power outage?
During a power outage, Mysa will save all of your preferred settings and automatically restart when the power comes back on.
Can one thermostat be used to control two mats, why not more?
Yes, one thermostat can be used to control two mats, as long as the combined voltage and amps still meet Mysas requirements for energy. The number of mats connected to one thermostat is limited to two because the National Electric Code (NEC) has rules that limit the number of wires in a wire nut. The more wires in the nut, the more dangerous the connections become.
How do I set the date and time?
Theres no way to set the date on Mysa. To set the time all you have to do is put in the time zone on the Mysa app when you are adding a new thermostat.
