Does Mysa integrate with the SmartThings Classic app?

No, Mysa only integrates with the SmartThings app. There are no plans to support the SmartThings Classic app at this time.

How do I link Mysa with Samsung SmartThings?

  1. Open the Samsung SmartThings app (not the classic app)
  2. Tap the menu icon in the upper left-hand corner.
  3. Tap the Devices icon and then press add new device
  4. Scroll down the list of devices and select Mysa Smart Thermostat
  5. Tap other
  6. Tap “Press here to connect to Mysa”
  7. Sign in with your Mysa account (ensure your email is in lower case)
  8. Select your preferred temperature format
  9. Press “Allow” to connect Mysa with SmartThings
  10. If successful, you should have returned to the add device screen. You can tap the back arrow to return to the home screen

Thats it! Your thermostats should now appear on the home screen for you to interact with.

Troubleshooting:

If your SmartThings integration is not behaving properly or giving you error messages, here are some things you can try:

  • Ensure that you have authorized the correct Mysa account to your SmartThings account. This is the same email address that you used to create your Mysa account.
  • You’ll need to make sure the thermostats are online in the Mysa app on your phone before giving a command with the SmartThings app.

Re-link Mysa and SmartThings

Most issues between Mysa and SmartThings can be resolved by disconnecting the link between Mysa and SmartThings and reconnecting it:

  1. Open the SmartThings app
  2. Tap the menu icon in the upper left-hand corner.
  3. Go to the settings menu by tapping the gear icon of the pop up menu.
  4. Tap “Connected services”
  5. Slide your finger from right to left over the “Mysa Smart Thermostat” service. A red delete button should show.
  6. Tap delete
  7. Tap delete again to confirm
  8. Follow the steps above to reconnect your Mysa to SmartThings
