How do I connect my thermostats with Apple HomeKit?

HomeKit is Apple's home automation platform for controlling smart home devices with IOS apps and Siri voice commands. With the Home app you can easily and securely control all your HomeKit accessories.

  1. In the top right corner of the home screen in the Apple Home app, tap plus.
  2. Select "Add Accessory".
  3. Follow the Apple HomeKit pairing process to add your thermostats to your Wi-Fi network.

Where do I find my HomeKit registration code?

The registration code for each Mysa thermostat is located in two places. You can find it by either looking at the inside of your Mysa thermostat's faceplate or the back cover of the Welcome Guide.

What commands can I use through HomeKit?

Mysa's integration with HomeKit allows homeowners to control their thermostats with voice commands. The following are the commands that Siri can understand. To make this easier, we recommend naming zones by room name.

 Getting the Temperature:

  • "Siri, what is the current temperature in the <room name>?"
  • "Siri, what's the <room name> set to?"
  • "Siri, what's the temperature of my <room name>?"

Setting the Temperature:

  • "Siri, set the temperature in the <room name> to <temperature>."

Increasing / Decreasing the Temperature:

  • "Siri, increase the temperature in the <room name>."
  • "Siri, decrease the temperature in the <room name>."
  • "Siri, increase the temperature in the <room name> by <number> degrees."
  • "Siri, decrease the temperature in the <room name> by <number> degrees."
