No, Mysa is not ENERGY STAR certified as it is impossible to obtain the certification for line voltage thermostats such as Mysa. All ENERGY STAR certified thermostats must be able to control heating AND cooling equipment, which makes it impossible for thermostats that only control electric baseboard heaters such as Mysa to obtain their certification.
However, Mysa does incorporate many of the ENERGY STAR guidelines in the product such as:
- Default ENERGY STAR schedules.
- Measure the room temperature within +/- 0.4 F/0.1 ℃.
- Maintain the room temperature within +/- 1F/0.5 ℃ of the setpoint temperature.
