I don't see the Mysa Wi-Fi network, what do I do?

If you are trying to connect your thermostat to your account in the app, you need to connect your smart device to the Wi-Fi network broadcasted by the installed Mysa Thermostat. The Mysa network will look something like this when you search for available Wi-Fi networks:



If you don't see this network, or you only see the network of another thermostat you have already connected, please check the thermostat to see if it is in pairing mode. If the thermostat is in pairing mode, you will see the following pattern on the display:




If you don't see this, you need to enable pairing mode which can be done by resetting the thermostat. Mysa Thermostats only broadcast their Wi-Fi network for 15 minutes after powering the thermostats or resetting them for security reasons and to save on power. Resetting your thermostat will make the Wi-Fi network appear again.

Here's how you go about it:

  1. Press both the up and down buttons of your thermostat for 10 seconds
  2. You will see the thermostat reset
  3. The upside down triangle will appear on the display to indicate pairing mode is active
  4. The Wi-Fi network is now available for you to connect to




Another way to reset your thermostat is to turn off the designated breaker in your electrical panel to cut off power to the thermostat. Turning the breaker back on will then make the Wi-Fi network available for 15 minutes.
