My Mysa is not powering on. What do I do?

Warning: Any work with high voltage equipment can be dangerous or even fatal. It should be performed by a qualified electrician. Please ensure that you comply with local electrical codes and regulations. Improper installation can lead to device failure and even cause a fire. Damage to thermostat due to improper installation is not covered under warranty.

Solution One

1. Turn off the breaker

Line voltage thermostats such as Mysa are connected to dangerous voltages. Make sure you turn off the circuit breaker for the thermostat you are troubleshooting.

2. Follow the step by step install guide

Note: Mysa does not work with 3-phase wiring Configurations. While not common in residential homes, some homes have three-phase electric power and therefore are incompatible.

Solution Two

It’s possible that one of the pins that connect Mysa’s faceplate to the backplate became misaligned during installation. Please remove the faceplate and ensure that these 10 pins are aligned before putting on the faceplate again. If you find that there is an angled pin, carefully adjust it and then remount the faceplate.
