BB3 Beta: Heater Type and W-on-A display issue

Applies to: BB3 Beta testers using app versions before 4.19

Summary

Some BB3 Beta testers may report that the Heater Type and/or Wake on Approach selector/toggle appears to revert to a different setting after they reopen the settings screen.

In both cases, the setting is being applied correctly. The issue is that the app displays the setting incorrectly when the settings screen is reopened.

Status

• Fix is scheduled for app version 4.19.

• 4.19 is currently in development.

Suggested response

Thanks for flagging this. We’re aware of an issue in the BB3 beta where the Heater Type and wake on approach selector/toggle may appear to revert to a different setting after reopening the settings screen.

The setting itself is still being applied correctly — it’s only displaying incorrectly in the app after reopening the screen.

A fix is scheduled for app version 4.19, which is currently in development. In the meantime, you can continue using the setting as selected.
