App & Connectivity Requirements — Mysa for Mini-Splits

Mysa for Mini-Splits uses Wi-Fi for app control and Bluetooth during setup.

What you need

• A smartphone or tablet with the current Mysa app

• A Mysa account

• Bluetooth enabled during pairing

• A 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network at the Mysa location

• Your Wi-Fi network name and password

• The equipment's original infrared remote for code matching

Wi-Fi compatibility

Mysa connects over 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n). Combined 2.4/5 GHz networks and mesh networks can work as long as 2.4 GHz is available and the signal reaches the thermostat.

What Wi-Fi enables

• Control from the Mysa app when you are away

• Schedules, geofencing, alerts, and energy insights

• Apple HomeKit, Google Home, and Amazon Alexa integrations

• Firmware and remote code-set downloads

Without Wi-Fi

Manual controls on Mysa can still regulate temperature, but app control, voice assistants, reports, and other smart features are unavailable.
