App & Connectivity Requirements — Mysa for In-Floor Heating

What you need for the app and network before you buy.

Phone and app

  • The Mysa app on iOS 15.0 or later, or Android 8.0 (Oreo) or later

  • A Mysa account

  • Bluetooth enabled — pairing uses Bluetooth before the thermostat joins Wi-Fi

Wi-Fi

  • 2.4 GHz only. 5 GHz networks are not supported

  • 802.11 b/g/n

  • Security: none, WPA, or WPA2 (AES)

  • Hidden networks work, but you enter the network name manually during setup

If your router broadcasts one combined 2.4/5 GHz name, the thermostat joins the 2.4 GHz band automatically.

Smart home

Mysa for In-Floor Heating works with Apple HomeKit, Google Home, and Amazon Alexa, so you can control heating by voice in addition to the Mysa app.

After installation, the app also includes a Network Diagnostics tool under Support if the connection needs checking.
