Shortcuts

Shortcuts let you apply a preset temperature and hold behavior to your Mysa for Baseboards thermostats with a single tap. Three shortcuts are available: Home, Away, and Vacation.

Each shortcut contains commands — one per thermostat. When you activate a shortcut, all its commands run at once.

When to Use Each Shortcut

Tip ENERGY STAR recommends setting your thermostat 7°C (12°F) lower while you're away, and 4°C (7°F) lower while asleep.

Home

Use when you arrive home earlier than your schedule expects. Set to your comfortable home temperature with Hold > The next scheduled event. Your thermostat switches to your preferred temperature immediately, then returns to your schedule at the next event.

Note If you set the Home shortcut to "Follow Schedule," it follows whatever your schedule says at that moment — which might still be an away setback if your schedule thinks you're out.

Away

Use when you leave earlier than your schedule expects. Set to an energy-saving temperature with Hold > The next scheduled event. Your return schedule kicks in as usual.

Vacation

Use when you're away for multiple days. Set to an energy-saving temperature with Hold > Decide date/time when applying. When you activate it, choose your return date — your schedule resumes automatically.

How to Set Up a Shortcut

From the app home screen, tap the menu icon (top left) > Manage Mysa Homes > select your home > Shortcuts. Tap the shortcut you want to configure (Home, Away, or Vacation).

To add a command for a thermostat:

1. Tap the + icon
2. Select the thermostat
3. Choose what you want your Mysa to do:

• Follow Schedule — Cancels any hold and returns to the schedule
• Hold — Keeps the temperature you set, with one of these durations:
  • I change it — Holds until you change it
  • The next scheduled event — Returns to schedule at the next event
  • Decide date/time when applying — You choose each time

1. If you selected Hold, set the temperature
2. Tap Done

To add the same command to all thermostats:

Tap the three dots (top right) > Bulk Edit. This applies the same settings to all thermostats at once. You can customize individual thermostats afterward.

How to Activate a Shortcut

From the app home screen, tap the shortcut name at the top of the screen (under your home's name). The shortcut applies immediately to all configured thermostats.

How to Edit or Delete Commands

From the Shortcuts screen, tap the shortcut you want to modify.

• Edit one command: Tap it and adjust the settings
• Bulk edit or delete: Tap the three dots (top right) > Bulk Edit or Delete Command(s)

Note Shortcuts apply a hold (or return to schedule) — they don't stay "running." To see what's currently active, check the device control screen.
